People have gone. Our archivist-reporters wander the Nobody Zone taking photos and reporting on what they find. The silences. The beings that have stirred to life in those silences.
Absence is its own kind of presence. Uncertainty and breakdown of categorical delineation is a space of possibility. Learn more about this series on Peculiar Mormyrid.
Method: One archivist contributes a photo of the Nobody Zone. Another archivist responds to that photo with another photo. This continues until a set of photos is established. The archivists then take turns writing segments of a narrative that connect one photo to the next, until all the photos have been integrated into a single report.
A sleek, mysterious silence has overtaken the landscape.
Setting darker thoughts aside, let us take this rare opportunity to observe the wondrous, secretive being as it hovers in the treetops.
